The visual fields shown here were plotted using a Goldmann perimeter, under identical conditions, with a 0.25mm2 object at two different light intensities: 1000 apostilb (I4) and 100 apostilb (I2). The black periphery indicates a normal visual field for comparison. An almost complete bitemporal hemianopia (pretherapy), which had almost disappeared after 1 year of treatment with bromocriptine, returned on cessation of therapy and began to subside after reinstitution of bromocriptine.
