b (S100 + M2000): Sitagliptin, 100 mg/day + metformin 2000 mg/day
c (S100 + M1000): Sitagliptin, 100 mg/day + metformin 1000 mg/day
d (S2.5, S5, S10): Saxigliptin, 2, 5, or 10 mg/day, respectively added to stable dose of metformin (≥ 1,500 but not > 2,550 mg/day)
e (A12.5, A25): Alogliptin, 12.5 or 25 mg/day, respectively, added to pioglitazone (30mg/day)
